Our prayer is that as you read the text and meditate on the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will minister and reveal to you the truth that is Jesus Christ (I Timothy 2:4).

As we study the Word of God, we draw near to Him that He may draw near to us (James 4:8), that He will reveal Himself to us (Galatians 1:12), that we might see Him as He is (I John 3:2), that at His coming we will be reflections of Him (II Corinthians: 3:18): His perfection, His beauty, His love.

The Bible is full of words that attempt to describe the presence of the Lord. It is also full of descriptions of mans longing for the Lord's presence which is remembered and longed for as one who is in the desert where there is no water (Psalm 63:1).

|
Jesus said, "...for without me you can do nothing", John 15:5. He is "The LORD the fountain of living waters", Jeremiah 17:13, and without water there is no life. "In Him was life and the life was the light of men", John 1:4.
